Smalltown Boy cat dance

What is the Smalltown Boy cat dance?

The Smalltown Boy cat dance is a pet trend set to "Smalltown Boy" by Bronski Beat. Two cats stand at a red wooden fence; one grabs its head and screams into a wide lens while the other dances behind it, then they swap, dance side by side and rush the camera. It copies a human duo clip, but the cat versions are the ones that went viral.

On 2 October 2026 a ginger cat and a tuxedo cat at the red fence started it, and a second version with two cats in a white living room passed 700,000 plays a week later.

Can you make the Smalltown Boy cat dance here?

Not yet. Our model films a new version of the template clip with your photos, and for this clip the test render did not swap everyone, so we are not selling it. We will open the maker once a render passes and show that result on this page. Until then, the templates that work today use the same credits.
