What is the Raindance AI trend?
The Raindance AI trend takes one scene from the music video for "Raindance", the Dave and Tems song: one person waits at the end of a wooden pier, the other walks up and sings straight into the lens, and the two end up side by side on the sand. Creators keep the shots, the light and the song, and swap who is in them.
It started with cats. A clip of two AI cats on the pier posted on 25 September 2026 passed 3.7 million plays on TikTok, and people quickly moved on to couples, best friends, footballers and themselves. The most-copied version now is two creators putting their own faces into the scene: you and a friend, in the real clip.

We will open the maker once a render passes and show that result on this page. Until then, the templates that work today use the same credits.
